This route to Qualified Teacher Status includes your assessment for the recommendation of the QTS award only. Candidates on this route must already be able to demonstrate that they have met the Teachers’ Standards from the evidence from their experience prior to application. This route does not include any training.

Experience

You will need at least two years teaching experience in at least two different schools across at least two consecutive age ranges within the primary or secondary phase. You will also need to demonstrate that you have met teaching standards
